ISDI is an affiliate of the Industrial Packaging Alliance of North America (IPANA). Its manufacturer member companies must manufacture new steel drums in North America and are required to become members of IPANA.
These manufacturer members yearly produce more than 25 million 55-gallon steel drums that allow the safe transport of products ranging from hazardous materials to foodstuffs.
ISDI’s associate member companies (suppliers) must supply new steel drum manufacturers in North America either with products such as components, accessories, raw materials, and equipment, or provide services required by steel drum manufacturers. They are also required to become IPANA members.
